Meet the Moment Returns for 2026

Communities experience moments when support is needed immediately. The Meet the Moment Campaign was created to help local nonprofits respond to those moments through flexible, community-driven grant making. Following the success of last year’s campaign, 3 Rivers Community Foundation is once again inviting the community to come together to support nonprofits serving Benton and Franklin counties. An anonymous donor has issued a matching challenge to help raise $75,000 through September 30. 

Contributions to the Meet the Moment Fund support responsive grants that can be directed toward emerging and urgent needs throughout our region. This approach allows 3RCF to respond where support can have the greatest immediate impact. Last year’s campaign demonstrated what is possible when a community comes together around shared generosity. In addition to helping fund local nonprofit work, the campaign also generated messages of appreciation from nonprofit leaders and community members across the Tri-Cities. As one nonprofit partner shared during the Celebration of Philanthropy:

“Together, we make our community stronger. Thank you so much for your contribution.”

The Donors wrote:

“We trust 3RCF because of your vetting process which assures us that our money will be well used.  This matching opportunity allows smaller gifts to have a multiplier effect.”

The Meet the Moment Campaign reflects the power of collective giving and the role local philanthropy plays in supporting the organizations that care for our community every day.

How does the match work? An anonymous donor will match community donations up to a total of $75,000 during the campaign period ending September 30, 2026.
