We Did It: Together, We Met the Moment!

What began as an ambitious invitation to our community has become something extraordinary. Thanks to the generosity of donors, partners and neighbors throughout our region, 3 Rivers Community Foundation has reached its $75,000 Meet the Moment campaign goal. The achievement means even more because every dollar raised through the campaign was matched. Together, $75,000 in community giving unlocked another $75,000 — creating $150,000 to help meet today’s challenges throughout Benton and Franklin Counties. Those funds are expected to provide 70 or more grants to local-serving nonprofits, extending the impact of this campaign across organizations, programs, families, and individuals throughout our region.

Meet the Moment has always been about more than reaching a number. It has been about what becomes possible when a community chooses to invest in itself. Throughout the campaign, individuals, businesses and community partners stepped forward with gifts large and small. Each one brought us closer to our goal, and together they demonstrated the extraordinary power of collective philanthropy. Now, we get to see that generosity turn into action. The conclusion of Meet the Moment isn’t an ending — it’s the beginning of the impact these dollars will create. In the months ahead, funding will move into the hands of local nonprofits working every day to address needs, create opportunities and strengthen our community.
